1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pray or Meditate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pray or Meditate is a meditation timer application that allows users to create custom meditation sessions with intervals, audio, haptic feedback, and group meditation features. The App also includes journaling, progress tracking, and calendar reminder features.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers auto-renewable subscription plans:

• Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly at the price displayed at the time of purchase
• Yearly Subscription: Billed annually at the price displayed at the time of purchase

Subscription terms:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
• Prices are in USD and may vary in other countries. Prices are subject to change with notice

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the App, including:

• Custom meditation sessions and intervals
• Uploaded audio files
• Journal entries
• Group names and descriptions

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content within the App solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and other users you choose to share with (such as group members).

6. Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing
• Contains hate speech or discriminatory language
• Is sexually explicit or inappropriate
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your health.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings page. We may also suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Use
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period
• It is necessary for legal compliance or to protect other users

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Children's Use

Children under 13 may only use the App with verifiable parental consent. Parents or legal guardians must create accounts on behalf of their children and are responsible for all activity under those accounts. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on our COPPA compliance.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
